It's never too late for a St. Patrick's Day outfit post, right? I wore this to a St. Patrick's Day themed Bunco party on the Thursday before. I love kelly green, and I'm not afraid to wear it on days besides St. Patrick's Day. However, on those non-St. Patrick's days I would not usually wear the kelly green striped flats WITH the green blazer. But for this party, I thought the more kelly green - the BETTER. So to break up the matchy-matchy kelly green, my husband made me wear this orange skinny belt. I was afraid, boy I was afraid. And he made me carry the teal handbag. I was planning on using a neutral light brown bag, but he said it wouldn't have worked. He said the teal doesn't match the green, but it's in the same color palette so it works to blend in well. I didn't like it until I saw the photo. I'm so glad I trusted him on these choices. So glad. He even picked out my necklace. To step out of my comfort zone and take fashion risks, I need him to dress me.
