California Mission at San Juan Capistrano

Last weekend we finally got around to using the Groupon I purchased months ago to visit the Mission at San Juan Capistrano.  It's sad that this was the very first time I've ever been there, and I've lived in Orange County my entire life.   It was difficult not to post all the photos.  My husband had a good time with this incredible background.

I like this neutral scarf against the bright pink, but the skirt and bag look blah.  Perhaps a scarf with a bolder print would have made the outfit more interesting.  Or a white skirt would have brightened things up a bit.  Oh, I think my white handbag would have worked.  Most of the time I'm rushing out and don't have time to change bags.  Ah, well!

  1. I think your outfit is cure. Love the hot pink. Often, I will put together an outfit, think it looks good and then feel less than put together when I leave the house...it's not a good feeling! But you look great!

  2. Thanks, Lisa! I think I needed to bring out the fuchsia in another way somehow. Perhaps with a different shade. I forgot I have my very old clear-red bracelet I could have worn. Or my gold leaf earrings that have pink/green/yellow stones on them. I was in a rush leaving the house, so my outfit is lacking. I must learn to plan ahead.
