I am a Stay-At-Home mom in Orange County, CA. The purpose of this blog is to share my outfits with the intent of being fashionable yet age-appropriate. I am a 40+ fashion blogger. I copy pieces I see on TV. I'm really, really good at finding excellent deals on quality brands. I diligently try to find the best deals and promo codes, so the prices shown on links are not necessarily the prices I paid. Say no to frumpy clothes.

Tailoring..... Happiness
My jeans that were botched too short have now been salvaged to a wearable 1/2" from the floor length for flats. You can see the before length here. I am so happy the red of my shoes can't be seen from the back.
Joyce, thanks! These red flats are super old. Funny thing about them is that after I bought them I saw them soon after on a What Not To Wear episode. I was pretty shocked! So those flats are my first official copy, but I didn't even know it.
Pear, thank you! I still wish the jeans were a little longer, so I'll most likely save them to wear with my super flat sandals this summer. I'm a jeans-wearin' gal even during the summer.
Lise Marie, thank you, I love these flats too. They are getting a little shabby, though. I should replace them, but I don't want to because I love them so much.
Kelly, thanks. I think I want to wear them with sandals since they could be a bit longer. The tailor fixed them as much as she could.
cute shoes!
